Bruin Learn - Display Name Changes

Logic of displayName in ED has changed as a part of the lived name logic change. It was implemented in ED during the winter break 2023. For now, displayName no longer comes from Campus Directory. It's from UCPath for employees. Employees can change their names when they login to UCPath. The change will be populated in ED.

In case you are interested, before the new lived name logic was implemented, employee's displayName was defaulted to their legal name. Campus Directory could change it and the change would be sent over to ED. Now with the new logic, employee name can no longer be updated there.
