Bruin Learn - Question Groups

In Bruin Learn, you can populate a quiz shell using either single questions (manually entered or pulled from a question bank) or you can create question groups.

To add a question group to your quiz, follow the directions below.

Open the quiz within your Bruin Learn course site and then select EDIT. Click on the “Questions” tab in the edit quiz menu. At the bottom of the page, select “New Question Group”.

This will generate the edit screen for the new question group. Here you can name your question group and link it to a question bank by clicking on the blue link.

To link to a question bank, click the blue “Link to a Question Bank” option and then in the popup screen, scroll until you find the desired question bank. Select the question bank so it is highlighted in gray, then click on “Select”.

Lastly, enter the total number of questions to be pulled from this question bank, then enter the number of points each question pulled should be worth. Once this information is filled out, select “Create Question Group”.

To edit the question group, click on the edit icon to the far right of the question group. The icon is a gray pencil.
