Bruin Learn - Typing a Phonetic Guide
For some language courses that need a phonetic guide like Japanese, here are the steps by using the HTML editor.
1. Click </> to shift for the HTML editor.
2. You need to put some HTML codes for words with a phonetic guide as in the attached picture. For example with 大学, <ruby>大学<rt>だいがく</rt></ruby> is a sample structure to make it work. Please add <ruby> right at the front of the kanji word (大学) then add <rt>. Add the phonetic guide (だいがく) for 大学 and add </rt></ruby> to close the code. Other normal texts could be added outside the range between <ruby> and </ruby> (but NEVER within the range as it will be messed up).
3. Once you save the work, it looks like this.
