Connecting to Campus and CDH VPN

Have an active DUO Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for your UCLA Logon ID.

If you don’t already have the Cisco Secure Client application on your computer, please follow the download link below to download an install it first.

Download link: Download Cisco Secure Client Application based on your Operating System of your device.

 

Campus VPN access:

·      Open the Cisco Secure Client Application on your computer

·      In the center box type the address: ssl.vpn.ucla.edu

·      Select connect and a new prompt will show up on your screen.

·      Sign in with your UCLA ID log on credentials.

Username and Password

·      The window will disappear for a silent DUO prompt.

This prompt will appear on your mobile device:

 

·      Go to your Duo app to authorize the log in.

·      A new window will appear and select Accept. After you accept, the VPN will connect you successfully.   

 

CDH VPN access: User will need to have an AD (Active Directory) account prior to connecting. Please consult your DTA (Department Technology Analyst) or email support@humnet.ucla.edu to request access.

·      Open the Cisco Secure Client Application on your computer

·      In the center box type the address: sslvpn.cdh.ucla.edu

·      Select connect and new prompt will show up on your screen.

·      Sign in with your AD (Active Directory) credentials.

Username and Password

·      The window will disappear for a silent DUO prompt.

This prompt will appear on your mobile device:

        

·      Go to your Duo app to authorize the log in.

·      After the authorization is approved via DUO, the VPN will automatically connect you successfully.
