Connecting Duo Mobile to a New Phone

  1. Download DUO Mobile App on your mobile device or tablet

 

·      Android – Google Play Store

  1. Go to UCLA Identity and Accounts Manager (IAM) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) website

·      UCLA IAM MFA

  1. Login using your Bruin Logon information

  1. Select “Link a Device: SMARTPHONE”

 

  1. Since you have already downloaded the app on the new device, SELECT “REQUIRED: I have installed Duo Mobile on my device.

  2. ” Then SELECT “Continue”.

  1. Enter required information then CONTINUE

·      Memorable label can be anything you would like to name your new device.

 

  1. Follow and complete the next step(s) on your device.

** Add button found on DUO Mobile App homepage **

 

Duo Mobile app is now ready for use.

·      Push notifications, one-time pass-codes, text messages or phone calls can be used to verify your identity.

 

Reactivating Device already connected to DUO Mobile app

 

  1. Start from Step 3 of the “Connecting Duo Mobile to New Phone Instructions” above

 

  1. SELECT the device that needs to reactivated to the DUO Mobile App and then SELECT “REACTIVATE DUO MOBILE APP”

  1. Follow Step 8 to finish the reactivation of the device.
