Adding right side menus

In addition to having a drop down header menus, a smart thing to have on your departmental website is to have right side menus that correspond to additional content contained within each section - this is especially useful in sections that have multiple subpages within a section (i.e. Academics/Undergraduate/Admissions/Calendars).
A typical right side menu can be found on this page: http://complit.ucla.edu/undergraduate.
The person who developed the website for your department will have to have enabled this feature to appear - once done, you can easily add right side menus that correspond to both your dropdown header menus and the subsections that are contained within each page.
- With each page you create within a certain menu section (i.e. Academics/Undergraduate/Advising), visit the edit function of this page within dashboard.
- On the right side, about half down the page, will be a box that says "MENU SELECT."
- Simply select the menu you want to appear on the right side of the page - please note that the menu select corresponds exactly to the menu that you created within the Appearance/Menu section of dashboard (i.e About, Academics) - however you structured that menu within the Appearance/Menu section will determine how the menu functions on the right side of the page (a good example here: http://complit.ucla.edu/graduate/).
- Ensure that you select PUBLISH on each page you add a right menu to ensure it appears.
