Capacity: 14

  • This room has chairs and space for 14 people seated along one side of the connected desks facing the TV wall.

  • There are a total of 8 desks connected side-by-side creating two rows. All desks have wheels and can be moved, however the chairs are fairly light in weight and they do not have wheels.

Internet Access:

  • All UCLA Wifi networks (Eduroam, UCLA_WIFI, and UCLA_WEB) are accessible in this room

  • There are no publicly-accessible ethernet ports available in this room

Video/Projection: Sharp TV

  • The classroom’s Mac Mini is located inside the black cabinet to the left side of the TV. The Mac Mini is connected via HDMI and is set to the HDMI 3 input on the TV.

    • Available connections: To the lower Left hand side of the TV on the wall there are 2 external connections to the TV: HDMI 1 and VGA with an audio-in option.

     

Classroom Computer: Mac Mini

  • The Mac Mini Keyboard and Mouse are located on top of the black cabinet located to the left side of the TV on the wall. Currently there is a Logitech wireless keyboard and a Logitech Wireless mouse working with this PC. There is an extra wired Dell Keyboard if needed inside the cabinet.

  • There are two user accounts on this computer: HumTech Admin and Kaplan User account with no password.

  • Internet is connected through ethernet connection however WiFi is also available. Zoom, and Microsoft Office (Not logged in). Web browsers are all installed on computer.

Sound System:

  • Currently the only audio in this room is connected through the TV speakers.

Conferencing Equipment: DTEN

  • The DTEN is equipped with microphone and speakers for audio within the device.

  • You can join into a conference meeting via zoom only.

  • Volume control is located in the back right hand side. The DTEN is touchscreen to navigate the controls and for joining a zoom conference.

  • The DTEN does have wheels to move around the room space. When moving the DTEN, please hold from the center mass of the unit and never from any part of the screen.
