Capacity: 14-20

  • This room has chairs and space for 14-20 people seated around the desks as well as several chairs and couches along the perimeter of the room. Additionally there are about 4 extra chairs with wheels in the room that can be moved to accommodate additional seatings.

  • There are 8 total desks connected side-by-side creating a circle in the center of the room. All the tables and chairs in the center of the room have wheels and can be moved.

Internet Access:

  • All UCLA Wifi networks (Eduroam, UCLA_WIFI, and UCLA_WEB) are accessible in this room

  • The only activate ethernet port in this room is labeled as BC-22 on the wall located to the lower right hand side of the TV.

Video/Projection: Sharp TV

  • The classroom’s Mac Mini, which is located inside of the media cabinet which is located to the left side of the TV and is connected via HDMI and is set to the HDMI 3 source on the TV. The source is labeled: Mac Mini.

    • Available connections: To the lower right hand side of the TV; on the wall there are 3 external connections to the TV: HDMI 1, HDMI 2 and VGA along with an audio in option.

Classroom Computer: Mac Mini

  • The wireless keyboard, and mouse for the Mac Mini are located on top of the media cabinet which is located by the far window adjacent to the wall. Both the wireless Keyboard and mouse have a power on/off switch.

  • Two accounts on this Mac Mini: Kaplan User with no password and a HumTech Admin account with the usual administrator password.

  • Connected through ethernet however Wifi is also available on Mac Mini. Zoom, and Microsoft Office(Not logged in), Preview, and web browsers are all installed on computer.

Sound System: Vizio Sound

  • Vizio sound bar mounted underneath TV. SoundBar remote control can be found in the cabinet which is located underneath the bigger windows adjacent to the wall where the TV is. NOTE: The SoundBar will need to be powered on independently as it is not setup to power on when the TV is turned on.

Conferencing Equipment: DTEN

  • The DTEN is equipped with microphone and speakers within the device.

  • You can join into a conference meeting via zoom only.

  • The DTEN is touchscreen to navigate the controls and for joining a zoom conference. Volume control is located in the back right hand side if needed.

  • The DTEN does have wheels to move around the room space. When moving the DTEN, please hold from the center mass of the unit and never from any part of the screen.
