Teaching Resource Center

UPDATE: The building that the Teaching Resource Center is located in, the Public Affairs Bldg., is undergoing earthquake retrofit beginning in December, 2021. As a result, this space will not be available until April 2022 at the earliest.

The Teaching Resource Center (1020 Public Affairs) is the central hub for the Learning Commons at Humanities Technology (HumTech).

It is a space for Humanities faculty and students to receive help in troubleshooting, training, or collaborating on their Bruin Learn courses.

Everyone is welcome to drop in during business hours, to submit tickets online, or to schedule a one-on-one appointment with one of our Research and Instructional Technology Consultants to receive assistance with Bruin Learn and other instructional technologies.

The Teaching Resource Center also houses a media station available for faculty use in creating course content.  Audio, video and graphic-design software are accessible on a dedicated Mac desktop for tasks such as editing your own videos or adding subtitles to a video.
