Any file that is considered a media item (images, pdfs) that are not graphics on your website will live in the Media Library in your dashboard.
To access go to Media/Library
When you are wanting to add media to a page you have one of two options of adding to the Media Library:
- Add through the page you're creating by clicking "Add Media" then select Upload Files - this option will allow you to drop in images from your desktop files, or you can select "Select Files" and upload that way. Both of these options will add your media file to the Media Library.
- Add through the actual Media Library portion of the dashboard by selecting "Add New" and this option will also allow you to drop in images from your desktop files, or you can select "Select Files" and upload that way.
Once uploaded, click on the thumbnail of the image to:
- See all details in regards to size and file name.
- Add a caption to the image that will appear underneath the photo on the page you insert the image into.
- Add a description for your records.
- Delete the film permanently.
- Edit the Image (select Edit Image).
- Cropping
- Rotating
- Flipping
- Changing the Scale of the image
