Data that violates FERPA or University policy (i.e. credit card information, social security numbers, etc.)

Current folder structure as it is in the share drive

Data that is not departmental business (i.e. personal data, desktop backups, etc.)

Department data that is compliant with all of our policies

 

After we have cleaned up the data on the share drive, the plan is to move all of the data to Box, then reorganize the folder structure within Box. It’s easier to move folders around in Box than it is on the DFS, and it puts less of a time crunch on the departments. We will keep share drive as is to maintain a backup.
