Allowing for student accommodations in a course can be done in several waysInstructors will sometimes receive information from the UCLA Center for Accessible Education (CAE) regarding accommodations that must be made for a particular student. The most common form of accommodation however is a request for extended time on quizzes from Center for Accessible Education (CAE). To grant a student extra quiz time or extra quiz attempts for an exam, you will not have to create a separate quiz. Instead, you can create a single quiz for the class, then modify quiz times and attempts per student using the “Moderate Quiz” option.
To moderate a quiz, open :
Open the course where a student has requested CAE accommodations.

In the left-hand panel click on the Quizzes link in the course navigation.
Click on the Name of the quiz you wish to provide accommodations for, and

in the right-hand side menu, choose Moderate This Quiz.

On this screen, you can view the specific attempts of a single student via the Search People field.
Once you have found the student(s), click on the Edit icon
